Harris-Teeter facelift

J.E. Crain & Son has pulled a permit to rehab the Harris-Teeter store at the 70/100 split in Belle Meade. The job, which includes a small expansion, is valued at $3.1 million.

Hospital café overhaul

Balfour Beatty Construction will overhaul the main cafeteria at Vanderbilt University Hospital. The project on Medical Center Drive is worth $1.7 million.

Office tower courtyard work

Brasfield & Gorrie will renovate the courtyard in front of the Fifth Third Center at Fifth and Church downtown. The work — which follows façade work done in recent years — is valued at $888,000.

Belmont restaurant rehab

All Professional Construction has pulled a permit to renovate the two-story building at 2013 Belmont Blvd., part of which will be used for a restaurant. The project across the street from Belmont’s Curb Center is worth $289,000.

More Farmer’s Market options

Knestrick Contractor will renovate two spaces at the Farmer’s Market at Bicentennial Mall. Chicago Style Gyro and Swagruna Indian Restaurant will move in once the $200,000 job is completed.

TSU roof job

Porter Roofing Contractors will reroof Lawson Hall on the campus of Tennessee State University. The work on the building, which houses TSU’s agriculture department and NASA lab, is valued at $153,500.
