Solomon snags Emdeon job

Solomon Builders Inc. has won the job to overhaul the former Donelson Hospital for health care technology company Emdeon. The contractor has pulled permits worth more than $1.9 million for the work at what is now called Donelson Corporate Center.

Private school adding space

Williams Scotsman Inc. will build a 9,500-square-foot modular building for Nashville International Academy on Charlotte Pike in Bellevue. The job is worth almost $664,000.

Manufacturing add-on in Hermitage

LoJac Safety Inc., which makes highway signs and traffic control products, is building a 16,000-square-foot light manufacturing facility at its facilities on Hermitage Industrial Drive. Browning Construction Group has pulled a permit worth $494,500 for the job.

Snappy Tomato set for Bellevue

Also in Bellevue, Snappy Tomato will open on Highway 70 after W.T. DuBois Construction Inc. renovates some space for $200,000.

Antioch apartment rehabs

Westerly Construction Co. Inc. has pulled permits to rehab four units at the Stonewood Apartments complex on Rice Road in Antioch. The work is valued at $400,000.
