Holiday Inn set for Opryland area

Robert S. Biscan & Co. has pulled a permit for a 112-room Holiday Inn Express on McGavock Pike west of Opryland. The work is valued at $8.9 million.

Doctor groups rehabbing near Centennial, Saint Thomas

Brasfield & Gorrie is rehabbing parts of the fourth and fifth floors of 2410 Patterson St. near Centennial Hospital for the Arthritis Specialists doctor group. The permit for the job is worth $2.4 million. A little further west, Solomon Builders Inc. is renovating a suite in the Saint Thomas Hospital Plaza building for Heritage Medical Associates. That job is valued at about $55,000.

Rhythm wrap-ups

Choate Construction Co. has pulled permits to finish out 33 units at the Rhythm at Music Row condo tower. Combined, the jobs are worth a little more than $1.8 million.

East Precinct getting overhaul

Hardaway Construction Corp. has pulled a permit to rehab almost 23,000 square feet of the Metro Police East Precinct warehouse. The work on the Trinity Lane site is valued at $2 million.

Publix renovation in Hermitage

Benning Construction Co. is renovating the interior of the largest space at the Oakwood Commons Shopping Center in Hermitage for Publix. The permit is worth $1.1 million.

Dentists set for Hill Center

Endodontic Associates will move into the Hill Center in Green Hills after DWC Construction Co. Inc. wraps up its work on a second-floor suite there. The work is worth more than $515,000.

Another tenant for SunTrust Plaza

Tenant Building Group is rehabbing a seventh-floor suite in Eakin Partners’ SunTrust Plaza downtown for Iroquois Holdings LLC. The job is worth $387,000.

New life for Midtown eatery

Goodrum Construction LLC will renovate the former Layl’a Rul restaurant building on 20th Avenue South near Vanderbilt for Giovanni’s Restaurant. The work on the two-story, 7,000-square-foot structure is valued at $350,000.
