New resource for women business owners

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) recently launched the NAWBO SmartBrief, a twice-weekly e-news summary for women entrepreneurs. Each e-newsletter contains news important to running a business, links to relevant stories and insider information on NAWBO and its initiatives.

Tennessee tax-help sites now open

Senior citizens, low- or moderate-income persons and those who are disabled may have free tax help available right around the corner at one of nearly 200 volunteer-staffed tax-help sites in Tennessee. Most of these tax help sites offer free electronic filing, and many are open evenings or weekends.
