Myers named president of Tennessee Retail Association
Roland H. Myers III has been named president of the Tennessee Retail Association.
Myers, formerly the director of government relations for the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has more than 10 years of experience in advocacy and association management.
Myers will oversee the planning, organization and implementation of all programs and activities, and will work closely with leaders of national and state retail organizations. Prior to joining the chamber in 2000, Myers was the director of legislative affairs for the National Association of Federal Credit Unions in Washington, D.C. He also served as legislative director for former U.S. Representative Tom Barlow and as a legislative assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives
