Pinnacle adds two local mortgage advisors

Sandra Austin and Gerald Satterfield have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as mortgage advisors.

Austin serves as vice president and mortgage advisor and will work at Pinnacle’s downtown Nashville office. She most recently served as manager for Global Mortgage.

Satterfield was most recently an account executive and production coordinator for First Franklin and Countrywide. Satterfield will be based at Pinnacle’s Donelson office.

Advent announces design, accounting appointments

Advent, a leader in the experiential marketing industry, announces the appointment of Walt Malone as account coordinator and the addition of Dave Landry to its design team.

Prior to joining Advent, Malone served as an account executive for the transportation division for sales at Comdata Corporation.

Malone earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Faulkner University.

Landry works closely with clients to develop designs that communicate their brands, researches innovations in design and technology, and assists with in-house branding for Advent.

Landry, who in the past has primarily worked as a graphic and web designer, has also done stints in the world of fine arts and real estate. Prior to joining Advent, Landry digitized documents for Legal Imaging Technologies in San Francisco.

Landry majored in illustration at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco.

Commercial Industrial Construction makes two additions

Chris Parker and Chuck Sellers have joined CIC (Commercial Industrial Construction Inc.) as project managers.

Parker was previously with Cullum Wood Products of Nashville in sales. He worked closely with contractors and sub-contractors. Parker has sub-contractor experience as owner of Parker Contracting in Antioch. He attended David Lipscomb University in Nashville.

Sellers has sold industrial supplies and promotional items for more than 24 years throughout Middle Tennessee, and was most recently associated with Sunrise Promotions of Nashville. Sellers graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in mass communications.

Centerstone names regional director of human resources

Centerstone, the largest provider of community-based behavioral healthcare in the nation, announced the promotion of Lynn Chappin to regional director of human resources.

Chappin, who joined Centerstone in 1999, will oversee the credentialing, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), training and recruiting functions of the Human Resources department in Tennessee. Prior to her promotion, Chappin served as human resources specialist for the company, where she oversaw the dispensation of worker’s compensation and FMLA benefits, as well as credentialing for Centerstone’s Medicare and TennCare providers.

Chappin received her Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.

Crawford new addition at Batten & Shaw

Batten & Shaw Inc. has added Craig Crawford as a new project engineer. Crawford recently graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in architecture.

Henley elected CFMA vice chairman

The Princeton, N.J.-based Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) elected Jason W. Henley CCIFP as vice chairman.

Henley is the Chief Financial Officer for D.F. Chase Inc. in Nashville. He has served as CFMA’s national treasurer and serves on the following national committees: Conference Planning, Executive, Finance and as the member chair of the Leadership Development Committee. He has served the Middle Tennessee Chapter as president, vice president, and board member.

Other newly elected CFMA officers include Vickie L. Spotts CCIFP, chairman; Melvin E. Burges CCIFP, treasurer; and Brian J. Cooney CCIFP, secretary.
