Westmoreland joins Barge Waggoner Sumner & Cannon
Jeremy Westmoreland has joined Barge Waggoner Sumner & Cannon, Inc. as a project engineer in the firm’s Nashville office. He will focus on site design for residential and commercial properties with responsibilities including business development, project management, project design and client communications.
Westmoreland has eight years experience in civil engineering, providing land planning and civil engineering services for residential subdivisions and commercial and church sites. A graduate of the University of Memphis, he previously owned and operated Development Design Services, LLC in Nashville and was also employed with Renaissance Group, Inc. in Cordova, Tenn.
Nashville Bank & Trust hires senior vice president
Roderick V. Spann has joined Nashville Bank & Trust as senior vice president of private banking.
Spann comes to Nashville Bank & Trust from the Nashville office of Fifth Third Bank, where he was on the private banking team since 2006. Before that, he was at Bank of Nashville from 1998 to 2006 and at First American Bank from 1981 to 1998.
Spann holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Tennessee Graduate School of Banking.
Pinnacle names information security officer
Mark Brown has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as information security officer. He brings more than 14 years of experience to his role.
Most recently, Brown was at Spheris, where he managed the company’s IT security program, as well as a security project manager at CIGNA Government Services.
Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and management information systems from Tennessee Technological University and a master’s degree from Belmont University’s Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business.
InsBank announces two staff additions
Nashville-based InsBank recently announced the addition of two staff members. Blake Wilson has joined the company as a credit analyst and Jana McNamara has joined as a deposit services specialist.
Wilson last year held an internship with the Southern Mississippi Planning and Development Commission, where he provided economic analysis and strategic planning after Hurricane Katrina. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University.
McNamara will sell and counsel clients on the bank’s deposit products. Previously, she served as a retail banking supervisor for Old Second Bancorp in Aurora, Ill.
LBMC adds HR rep, promotes seven
Accounting and consulting firm Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain has added Lauren Broadway to its Brentwood office as a human resources representative. She will focus on employee orientation, recruiting and retention for the firm’s three offices.
Previously, she was an agent with Randstad in Manchester.
In addition, LBMC has promoted the following:
Laura Dawson has been named accounting manager in the internal accounting department. She will have supervisory responsibility for accounts payable and will continue to oversee the financial statement process.
Nicola Harrison and Paula Thurman have been promoted to seniors in the internal accounting department. Previously, both were previously a staff in the division.
James West has been promoted to a senior technician in the firm’s IT department. He was previously a technician in the department.
Chris Hasselbacher has been promoted to help desk supervisor. Previously, Hasselbacher was a senior technician.
David Windham has accepted an engineering role in the IT department. He was previously a help desk supervisor.
Katie Iovino has accepted an engineering role in the IT department. Previously, she was an IS support staff in LBMC’s Knoxville office. She will relocate to the Brentwood office later this summer.
