Gish promotes two

Marketing agency Gish, Sherwood & Friends has promoted Samantha Owens and Laura Perrizo to public relations account supervisor and account executive, respectively.

Owens received her bachelor’s degree in broadcast communication from Western Kentucky University and her master’s degree in English from Tennessee State University. Prior to joining Gish, she was with Saint Thomas Health Services and Bell Construction.

Perrizo received her bachelor’s degree in integrated strategic communications from the University of Kentucky. Previously, she worked for the Lexington Herald Leader as an advertising sales representative.

Corps of Engineers promotes project manager

Craig Carrington was recently promoted to chief of plan formulation for the Nashville District Corps of Engineers. Carrington previously served as a project manager for the Nashville District.

With his promotion, he will lead a team of multidisciplinary project plan formulators and managers for the civil works program of the Nashville District. Carrington received his master’s of science degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Tennessee in 2002.

Winfree & Brandon join Pinnacle

Bill Winfree and Toome Brandon have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners.

Winfree, who has been in banking for 31 years, is a senior vice president and financial advisor. He most recently served as a senior vice president in residential construction lending for The Bank of Nashville. He is a graduate of Tennessee Tech University.

Brandon brings eight years of experience to his role of vice president and financial advisor. He comes most recently from The Bank of Nashville, where he served as assistant vice president and residential construction lender. Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Lovell announces appointments

Lovell Communications Inc. has promoted Rebecca Kirkham to senior vice president and added Mary Brenna O’Neil as an assistant account executive.

Kirkham, who previously served as vice president, has more than 13 years of experience developing marketing and communications strategies for publicly traded and privately held companies. A member of the firm since 2002, she is a graduate of Western Kentucky University.

Prior to joining the firm, O’Neil worked in the marketing and public relations department at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. She graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2007 with a degree in communications.

change:healthcare hires director of marketing

Dian Luffman has been named director of marketing at healthcare technology company change:healthcare. She will develop and manage the firm’s product and marketing strategy and execution.

Luffman most recently headed marketing at Informa Investment Solutions, which was previously known as Investment Scorecard. Prior to Informa, she was at American General and Square D Co. She is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University.

Village Real Estate hires Schimmels

Village Real Estate Services has namedVanessa Schimmels an affiliate broker of residential sales in the company’s East Nashville office. Most recently, she was a broker at Keller Williams.

Schimmels earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and an associate degree in applied science in graphic design from the Art Institute of Colorado.

McNeely Pigott & Fox announces promotions

McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations has promoted Javier Solano from account supervisor to senior account supervisor and Katie Hill from staff associate to associate account executive.

After 10 years in print journalism, Solano joined McNeely Pigott & Fox in June 2001. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Columbia University.

Hill graduated in 2005 from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in classics and a minor in art history. Before joining MP&F, she worked in development and community relations at Hands On Nashville for nearly two years.

Wolff joins Cybera in sales role

Technology company Cybera has hired Chris Wolff to be its vice president of alternate channel sales. Most recently, Wolff was with AT&T in enterprise sales and marketing operations management. Prior to AT&T, Wolff was a senior partner at Siebel Systems
