Centerre expands development team

Centerre Healthcare Corp., a provider of inpatient acute rehabilitation services, has hired Douglas Johnson as senior vice president of development.

Prior to joining Centerre, Johnson was vice president of acquisition and development at Community Health Systems. He also has held positions as a senior manager with Ernst & Young in Atlanta and worked for Partners Healthcare System and Arthur Andersen in Boston.

Zycron promotes Briggs

Zycro, Inc. has promoted Asa Briggs to sales account manager. Briggs joined Zycron in 2007 as a technical recruiter with more than two years of experience. He earned a bachelor of arts in political science from Clemson University and is currently pursuing his master’s at Trevecca Nazarene University.

Record label manager hires two

Indie Extreme, an independent record label management firm in Brentwood, has hired Lisa Wohl and Jordan Stone as label administrator and Internet marketing specialist, respectively.

Wohl most recently served as director of advertising, marketing and promotions for Music City Record Distributors and Music Media Advertising Agency. Before that, she worked for EMI CMG Distribution and Epitaph Records.

Stone most recently worked as a staff member for East Iris Recording Studios in Nashville. He has served in various technical capacities at HCA Inc. and the Sound Kitchen Recording Studios in Franklin.

Margotta joins New Day

Veteran technologist and sales professional Greg Margotta has joined New Day Pharmacy in Nashville as chief information officer.

Margotta has 15 years of experience in information technology, working as a consultant in the health care and high-tech sectors. He has worked at high-tech companies such as Invoke Solutions, iLinc Communications and Placeware/Microsoft. Before branching out into the small start-up arena, Greg was national manager of Web infrastructure for Deloitte & Touche.

Bell hires vice president of commercial building

Bell & Associates has hired Jerry Roberts as vice president of commercial building. He comes to Bell after 12 years at local contractor T.W. Frierson.

During his career, Roberts has held positions at Doster Construction in Brentwood and Chicago Bridge and Iron Co. in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He holds a bachelor of engineering in civil engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Dill joins Tennessee Agents Alliance Group

Mike Dill has joined Tennessee Agents Alliance Group as director of marketing. Dill, who was most recently with Hemisphere General Insurance, a division of Clay & Land in Memphis, has 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Dill is a former insurance producer in both the Nashville and Memphis markets. Before working at Hemisphere, Dill was in claims management with Royal Insurance Co. for 12 years.

New GM, sales exec at TPAC

The Tennessee Performing Arts Center has promoted Brent Hyams to executive vice president and general manager and named Renée Copeland vice president for business development and protocol.

Both Hyams and Copeland have longstanding roots in Nashville business. Prior to joining TPAC in 2002, Hyams worked at the Ryman Auditorium and at other areas of Gaylord Entertainment operations as well as the Frist Center for the Visual Arts. Copeland joins TPAC after most recently serving as manager of the chancellor’s residence and assistant director of university events at Vanderbilt University.
