Urban League of Middle Tennessee names president & CEO
Patricia Stokes, former program manager of Meharry Medical College Center for Women’s Health Research, has joined Urban League of Middle Tennessee as president and CEO.
Stokes brings 20 years of nonprofit management experience to her new position at Urban League. Previously, she directed the development of programs and partnerships at Meharry Medical College and held multiple leadership positions during a seven-year tenure at the Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of American Red Cross.
Fleet One announces OTR sales hires
Fleet One, a provider of fuel cards and fleet-related payment solutions to businesses and government agencies with vehicles, has hired Michael Ormaza, Brandon Fleming and Kevin McCauley as accounts executives for its over-the-road sales force.
Ormaza is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. Most recently, he was a member of the financial advising team with Merrill Lynch. Fleming is a graduate of the University of Tennessee who previously was a sales consultant with Tallen Inc., in Nashville. McCauley is a graduate of Belmont University. Previously, he was a fraud research specialist in the collections department of Shop at Home, LLC.
Metro Ready Mix adds two managers

Metro Ready Mix has named Cindy Dutton credit manager and Chad Joiner products department operations manager.
Previously, Dutton was at Royster Clark/Crop Production, among others. She formerly lived in Martin, where she attended UT-Martin. Originally from Paducah, Joiner relocated to Nashville from the St. Louis area. He previously spent six years at 84 Lumber.
Boult adds real estate, finance attorney
Boult Cummings Conners & Berry has added Tranny Arnold IV as an associate to its real estate and finance practice.
Arnold joins the firm after practicing for two years in the Charlotte office of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where he was a member of the capital markets team. In his new role at Boult Cummings, Arnold will focus his practice on commercial real estate, telecommunications and commercial lending. He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2006 and his undergraduate degree in accounting and international business from Georgetown University in 2003.
New executive director for The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation
The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation has named Susan Earl Hosbach its new executive director. With 16 years of nonprofit fund raising and marketing experience in Nashville, Hosbach spent the last three years as vice president for development and marketing at Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art.
Search firms hires manager, recruiter

Mary Beth Bellwood and Jamie Uehlinger have joined the staff in the headquarters office of The Human Capital Group as business office manager and recruiting associate, respectively.
Bellwood, who has more than 24 years of business management experience, was previously owner of MBB Communications. Uehlinger was previously an admissions counselor at Central Baptist College in Arkansas.
Lovell Communications adds two
Lovell Communications Inc. announces the appointments of Ashley Webb as assistant account executive and Jeremey Selfridge as administrative assistant.
Webb will be responsible for assisting Lovell’s clients in media relations, research, content writing, events planning and advertising support. Webb is a recent graduate of Western Kentucky University, earning a bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing. Selfridge is a recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in mass communications with an emphasis in public relations.
