Perdue to lead new Kraft unit

Nashville-based KraftCPAs PLLC has appointed Glenn Perdue member-in-charge of Kraft Analytics, a new affiliate providing valuation, forensic and consulting services. Perdue was most recently with Crowe Chizek & Co., where he led the intellectual property practice. Before that, he was with LECG, an international economics and finance consulting firm.

MNAA official named to board of business quality group

John Howard of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority has been appointed to the 2008 Board of Examiners of the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence. Howard has been assistant vice president of properties and business development for MNAA since June 2007.

Bulow adds prosthetist

Bulow Biotech Prosthetics has hired certified prosthetist Jason Ramsey to work in its Nashville location. Ramsey holds a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from California State University and a master’s in orthotics and prosthetics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He recently completed his orthotic and prosthetic residencies at the Oklahoma University Health Sciences and Veterans Administration Medical Centers in Oklahoma City.

Construction association names local officers

The following have been named officers of the Nashville Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute for 2008-09: president, Tiffany Goulet of TNEMEC Co.; president-elect, Mike Leonard of Thomas, Miller & Partners Architects; 1st vice president, Randy Huffman of Alley-Cassetty Brick; 2nd vice president and secretary, Timothy Yoko of Thomas, Miller & Partners Architects; treasurer, Jack R. Potter Jr. of Hart Freeland Roberts; past president, Thomas L. Parshall of TLP Architects.

First-year directors are Vickie Long of McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge, John Coke of Hart Freeland Roberts, and Troy Williams of Barge Cauthen & Associates. Second-year directors are Kathy Richards of Kaatz, Binkley, Jones & Morris Architects, John McNicholas of Johns Manville Roofing Systems, and Janice Woodall with Automation Personnel Services.

EMI CMG exec to head up Christian music trade group

The Christian Music Trade Association has named EMI CMG executive Greg Bays chairman of its board of directors. Bays is senior vice president of sales and marketing for EMI CMG Distribution in Brentwood. He will be CMTA’s chairman for two years.
