Judge reverses Spring Hill HCA hospital decision

Monday, October 15, 2007 at 12:24pm

An initial order that would have granted HCA Corp. permission to build a hospital in Spring Hill was reversed this morning in an administrative court.

HCA filed a certificate of need application with the state’s Health Services and Development Agency in July of last year. Permission for the company to build a 56-bed hospital in Spring Hill was initially granted, but administrative law Judge Leonard F. Pogue this morning rendered an initial order reversing that decision.

HCA has until Oct. 29 to appeal the decision.
