Label owner and artist expands notion of music industry

Bob Evans grew up in Detroit and witnessed first-hand the impact that a locally based operation can have, as he witnessed the worldwide success of Motown.

But his plans for a Nashville equivalent extend far beyond the boundaries of Middle Tennessee. He envisions a global operation whose main base in Nashville (actually Brentwood) will establish a musical connection with performers from such nations as England, Germany, Russia and China, bringing those musicians here to record and perform with top Music City talent.
