Local engineering firms to compete in EEA event

Eleven Nashville engineering firms have entered projects in the 2006 Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition sponsored by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Tennessee (ACEC of Tennessee).

Projects entered by the Nashville firms are located throughout the state and nation.

The 2006 winners will be announced on Tuesday, March 7, during a gala event at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs. In addition to the overall Grand Prize Award, an honor award will be presented in each entry category.

The Nashville firms entered in 2006 competition and their projects are AMEC Earth & Environmental Inc.; Bowlby & Associates Inc.; Barge Waggoner Sumner and Cannon, Inc.; CDM; Gobbell Hays Partners Inc.; Gresham, Smith and Partners; Jordan, Jones & Goulding Inc.; PBS&J; Parsons Brinckerhoff; Ross Bryan Associates Inc.; and I. C. Thomasson Associates Inc.
