Aegis Health Group promotes Bull 

Aegis Health Group has named Emily Bull its director of product development.

Bull will monitor and manage all aspects of the life cycle of Aegis’ products.

Bull joined Aegis in 2006 as a market specialist and was later promoted to director of operations. Previously, she served as the marketing director of Holston Methodist Federal Credit Union as well as publications coordinator and conference specialist for the University of Tennessee.

Bull holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville as well as a BFA degree in digital design from American InterContinental University.

Pinnacle Financial Partners adds pair

Brad Childress and Emily Cornell have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as client service specialists.

Childress brings eight years of experience to Pinnacle’s Brentwood office. Prior roles were with First Tennessee Bank, where he served as an account manager for the company’s medical private banking area, and Bank of America, where he served as a banking center manager.

Cornell joins Pinnacle’s 100 Oaks office. She has 13 years of experience and most worked at Fifth Third Bank as an office manager. Prior to Fifth Third, she was a senior teller for Bank of America.

Benchmark Realty adds Willoughby

Agent Wesley Willoughby has joined Benchmark Realty.

Willoughby has been active with real estate for five years and specializes in residential, investment properties and distressed properties.

Willoughby studied civil engineering at Tennessee Tech University.

CapStar adds personnel

CapStar has announced the hiring of business development officers in two divisions, seven new retail and support staff, and two promotions.

Bruce Von Almen has joined CapStar as vice president, treasury management sales, supporting the commercial line of business. A graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a BS in business administration, Von Almen began his career with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Nashville Branch. For the last nine years, he has been a treasury management officer for First Horizon National Corp (First Tennessee Bank).

Jim Ward has been appointed senior account executive for CapStar’s commercial finance team. Ward will continue to be based in Atlanta.

Kim Yeager joins CapStar as executive assistant to the chief development officer and chief credit officer. Yeager was an operations administrative assistant at Amazon.com and previously spent two years with Cracker Barrel as a restaurant operations coordinator. Yeager holds a B.S. in arts administration from Butler University.

Tammi Narehood has been appointed vice president, financial center manager for the Green Hills office. Narehood comes to CapStar from SunTrust where she had been branch manager for the downtown office. Narehood brings more than a decade of bank management to her new position. She studied at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC.

Morgan Butler, vice president, will manage CapStar’s Hendersonville office. A graduate of the Southeastern School of Banking with a B.A. in political science from the University of the South, Butler comes from Renasant Bank where he was a business development officer.

Kimberly Wingrove was formerly a licensed personal banker IV at SunTrust, where she coordinated business development with the private wealth management department. She was also a member of the Branch Banking Advisory Board and an orientation host and on-the-job trainer for new hires and promotions.

Meridith Hobbs, who has been with CapStar since prior to its opening in July 2008, has accepted a new role as team leader for the customer service representatives. She has a master's of arts degree from Western Kentucky University.

Pam Price, who has been an FSR with CapStar since 2008, has been promoted to client services representative with the commercial clients in the C&I and HealthCare Groups. Price earned an accounting degree from Eastern Kentucky University with a minor in economics.

Nate Collier has been appointed financial services representative at CapStar’s Brentwood office. He was a lead FSR and teller trainer at the Franklin branch of SunTrust. He earned both a B.S. in business administration and a master's of arts degree in religion from Trevecca Nazarene University.

Michelle Hiam comes to CapStar as a financial services representative in the Hendersonville Financial Center, bringing more than 10 years of banking experience in consumer and commercial lending. She was most recently a commercial lending assistant at Renasant Bank.

Rebecca Wells joins CapStar as a financial services representative in the Gallatin Financial Center. She is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. in sociology and was a customer care representative with SunTrust’s call center. Most recently, she was a member of the relief staff at Renasant Bank.

Carr, Riggs & Ingram announce new staff members

Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC, has added Mitchel Schiff and Jill Stephens to the team.

Schiff is a senior staff accountant in the tax department. In this role, he prepares individual and business tax returns, researches tax issues, and works on state and local tax matters. His areas of expertise include construction, manufacturing and distribution, and real estate. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

Stephens joins CRI as a manager in the tax department. She directs tax engagements and supervises on-the-job training of staff members and focuses on real estate and health care clients. Stephens holds bachelors and master’s degrees in accounting from Miami University (Ohio).

Gresham, Smith and Partners adds three

Gresham, Smith and Partners has added Timothy Ray, Megan Towle and Greg Wisecaver.

Ray has rejoined GS&P as a technician in the transportation division. Ray previously worked for GS&P from 1995-2006 and has 18 years of experience in roadway, land planning and bridge projects and will be working on roadway design projects. He holds a construction safety certification from the Occupational Safety & Health Administration and is a certified TDOT Concrete Field Testing Technician.

Towle has joined GS&P as a graphic designer in the corporate services division. Towle is a 2012 graduate of Flagler College, where she earned a B.F.A. in graphic design.

Wisecaver has joined GS&P as an engineer in the transportation division. Wisecaver, a certified professional engineer, has eight years of experience in traffic engineering. He is a graduate of Humboldt State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in environmental resources engineering. 

Nashville Medical Group hires Rayburn

Nashville Medical Group has added board certified internal medicine practitioner Dr. Jennifer T. Rayburn to its staff. 

Rayburn received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. She completed her internal medicine residency with the University of Tennessee at Baptist Hospital.

Rayburn is board certified in internal medicine and has a special interest in dermatology. She is also a member of the American College of Physicians.

Concept Technology hires IT support analyst

James Contreras II has joined Concept Technology as an IT support analyst.

Contreras arrives from Red Rock Medical Billing/Radiology Specialists Ltd. in Las Vegas, where he worked as an information technologies director since 2010. He also previously worked for Las Vegas’ Wireless Telcorp, Inc., as a technical operations manager, and for UPS Teleservices within its technical support department.

Contreras is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the Advanced Technologies Academy where he focused in computer science and engineering.

Yates Construction earns national safety excellence award

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) has announced that Nashville-based Yates Construction has maintained a safety record that has earned the company recognition in the NAICS 236 – General Contractor category of ABC’s National Safety Excellence Awards.

Yates Construction representatives received the award Feb. 20 during the 23rd annual Excellence in Construction awards celebration in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

“ABC is proud to honor Yates Construction with a National Safety Excellence Award for demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to safety and outstanding safety performance,” Michael D. Bellaman, ABC president and CEO, said in a release. “Yates Construction has truly shown a dedication to becoming one of the leaders for the industry by striving to create the safest work environment possible for its employees.”

The 2012 National Safety Excellence Award winners were selected from ABC member firms that achieved diamond and platinum status in ABC’s Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP). During the selection process, national safety winners were judged on self-evaluation scores, lost workday case rates, total recordable rates, leading indicator use, process and program innovations and interviews conducted by members of ABC’s National Environment, Health & Safety Committee.

ABC is a national association with 72 chapters representing 22,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms.
