Southeast Venture hires property manager
Southeast Venture has added Aaron A. White as a property manager.
White formerly worked at Vision Real Estate as a property. While at Vision, he managed the operations of 18 commercial retail and office properties, including neighborhood shopping centers, community shopping centers, big box centers and office complexes.
White previously worked as a commercial real estate property manager for Elliott Associates, Inc. in Portland, Ore., and as a property management and operations project administrator for Central Bethany Development, also in Portland.
“Aaron has over 16 years experience in property management, and he has proven success in the management of commercial real estate properties, including retail, office and apartments,” said Randy Parham, principal with Southeast Venture. “We welcome him to our team.”
White is currently attending Western Governors University, completing classes towards a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
Littlejohn Engineering adds project manager
Littlejohn Engineering Associates announced today it has added Chuck Downham as a project manager in the firm’s Nashville office.
Formerly, Downham served as a project director for Lend Lease, overseeing a $377 million military housing project at Forts Wainwright and Greely in Alaska. He also worked as a senior project manager for Looney Ricks Kiss Architects.

Downham received a bachelor’s degree in urban geography and a master’s degree in planning from the University of Tennessee.
Waddey & Patterson adds associate
Patent attorney Nate Bailey has joined Waddey & Patterson, P.C., as an associate.
Bailey, like all Waddey & Patterson attorneys, is a registered patent attorney. His practice areas with the firm will include all aspects of patent and other intellectual property litigation, including practice before both the Trademark and Patent Trial and Appeal Boards.
Previously, Bailey worked as a patent attorney in the United States Patent & Trademark Office, Patent Trial and Appeal Board. There, he briefed administrative patent judges in the trial division on legal and technological issues and drafted opinions for ex parte appeals in numerous technological areas. Prior to his time at USPTO, Bailey worked for a patent boutique firm in the Washington D.C. area.
“[Bailey’s] extensive patent knowledge in the fields of chemical, electrical and computer engineering will serve our clients well,” Ed Lanquist, Waddey & Patterson president and managing shareholder, said in release. “His experience in the United States Patent and Trademark Office is an invaluable asset to Waddey & Patterson. Bailey obtained both a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and a Master of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from Southern Illinois University. He completed his undergraduate work in physics, chemistry and philosophy at East Tennessee State University.
Bailey’s writing has appeared in, among others, Today’s Engineer, Journal of Generic Medicines, Food and Drug Law Journal, and Engineering Management Review. He is past vice-chair of the Intellectual Property Committee for the Institute for Electronic and Electrical Engineers and holds memberships to the Nashville Bar Association and the Tennessee Intellectual Property Law Association.
