Callis joins Lovell Communications

Lovell Communications Inc. has added Amy Callis as assistant account executive.

Callis was most recently employed by a Middle Tennessee-based medical facility and spent several years on the management team of a not-for-profit organization. She served two years in the federal AmeriCorps program.

At Lovell, she will work in the areas of media relations, writing, research and special projects.

Callis recently graduated from Belmont University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations.

Concept Technology adds four

IT service provider Concept Technology, Inc., has hired Jon Sullivan and Richard Gericke as engineers, Lake Lucas as sales coordinator and Rachel Knight as sales associate.

Sullivan previously was the LAN manager for the Infectious Diseases Division of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He also once worked as a network administrator and consultant for accounting firm Damitz Brooks Nightingale Turner & Morrisset. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Westmont College.

Gericke comes to Concept Technology from South Coast Copy Systems, where he worked as an IT systems analyst. From 2003-2007, he was a network administrator and NTCSS administrator for the U.S. Navy. Gericke recently graduated from San Diego College with a focus in digital music technology.

Lucas will assist Concept Technology’s team of sales account executives. Previously, Lucas worked as a retail sales representative and human resources specialist for Absolute Wireless of TN. Lucas graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and journalism.

Most recently, Knight co-founded Midnight Media, a PR company that caters to clients of the Los Angeles Syndicate of Technology. A Belmont University graduate, Knight studied the entertainment industry and mass communications.

Spitzer joins Regions Bank

Regions Bank has added Ned Spitzer as commercial banking relationship manager. Spitzer will be responsible for managing and retaining existing relationships and generating new business in the commercial and industrial market segment.

Prior to joining Regions, Spitzer served as first vice president of commercial banking for Sun Trust Bank in Nashville. His background also includes positions with First Tennessee, Clayton Torch Fund and First American National Bank. 

Spitzer earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee.

DVL PR & Advertising promotes Stephens

DVL Public Relations & Advertising has promoted Claire Stephens to account service associate.

At DVL, Stephens will work with clients in the food and beverage, retail, non-profit, education and health care industries. She will assist multiple account teams in media relations, branding and strategic communications initiatives. 

Prior to joining DVL, Stephens interned with the Knoxville Tourism & Sports Corp. and the Knoxville Area American Red Cross. She attended the University of Tennessee and received her degree in public relations.
