VU names Forrester chaplain
The Rev. Mark Forrester has assumed the role of Vanderbilt University chaplain and director of the Office of Religious Life.
Forrester has been a United Methodist chaplain affiliated with the university’s Office of Religious Life since 1994. Previously, he was a United Methodist campus minister and director of The Wesley Foundation at Austin Peay State University. He also served as an ordained deacon and elder under full-time appointment to the local church in Nashville, serving five local churches as minister and associate minister for eight years.
Forrester also has been responsible for the administration of The Wesley Foundation at Vanderbilt.
Southwestern tabs DiCarlo to lead marketing team
Southwestern Consulting has promoted Angela DiCarlo to marketing director.
DiCarlo joined the company in 2011 as a field sales trainer touring the country with the Success Starts Now! conferences. She is the author of Caravan of Dreams, creator of Life Enhancer Fitness K-12 programs and a public speaker.
DiCarlo earned her MBA from Pepperdine University.
BOHAN promotes Arnold
BOHAN Advertising has promoted Jon Arnold to vice president and creative director.
Arnold joined the agency in 2009 as group creative director and is involved with all agency accounts.
Arnold, who was associate creative director at Mullen in Greensboro, N.C., before joining BOHAN, started his career at TBWA\Chiat\Day in St. Louis and then worked at CORE for more than eight years.
Rogers promoted at First Freedom Bank
Jessica Rogers has been promoted to portfolio manager in the Lebanon office of First Freedom Bank.
In her new position, she will manage a loan portfolio that includes primarily commercial loans and will serve as an officer of the bank.
Rogers is a graduate of Cumberland University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a minor in general business.
In addition, Matt Austin has joined First Freedom Bank as manager of its Mt. Juliet office.
Most recently, Austin was a business banking relationship manager at Regions Bank where he handled business banking clients for five branches.
Austin is a 2002 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a BBA in business management.
Lam-Andrews names Fite as PR account executive
Lam-Andrews has named Carol Fite as public relations account executive.
Since joining the firm in 2011, Fite has worked with a variety of health care clients and will continue to serve as a leader in account service and creative strategy development.
Prior to joining Lam-Andrews, Fite was public relations and marketing manager for Centennial Medical Center. Additionally, she previously held public relations and communications posts in state government as communications assistant to then-Gov. Phil Bredesen and communications manager for the Bureau of TennCare.
