Kirkland Properties has sold two of its Brentwood office buildings for $9 million.
Houston-based Principle Equity Management bought the two buildings located in the Westgate Commons office and retail park.
One is The Protective Life Building at 1620 Westgate Circle, which fetched $5.3 million. The second building at 1624 Westgate went for $3.5 million.
Principle has a previous relationship with Kirkland. Two years ago, the firm bought the former Service Merchandise headquarters building from Kirkland. Kirkland had rehabbed that 301,570-square-foot building, dubbed it Cool Springs Commons and leased it up with multiple tenants, the largest of which is Community Health Systems.
Principle is a syndicator for tenant-in-common transactions. Rob Lowe and Whit McCrary, brokers with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, handled the transaction.
