A $1,000 reward is being offered for information regarding the shooting of a horse in Madison.

Local business leaders have pooled together the money to help determine who shot John Coarsey’s horse Sable on April 8.

Sable was shot in a pasture next to Coarsey’s home off Campbell Road. The horse died shortly after the shooting.

I think it's nice that members of the community stepped up to offer a reward and try to track down the jackass who did this.
