Address law violators causing difficulties for emergency personnel

Nashville home and business owners who do not properly display street addresses on their buildings are violating a city ordinance and causing emergency personnel difficulties, say Metro officials who deal with 911 issues.

However, there is no fine for improper or non-existent street address display, according to Tom Cross, an attorney with the Metro Legal Department.
