Area artists have an opportunity to exhibit their work at the annual outdoor festival of original crafts, art and music at the Centennial Art Center in September.

Planners said only original artwork and designs are exhibited, and a nominal booth fee is required. Entry applications will be accepted through Sept. 6.

Ninety to 100 artists are expected to exhibit, many of whom will demonstrate their technique throughout the weekend. A special exhibit of work by Metro students will be on display in the center.

The show, sponsored by Metro Parks and the Friends of Centennial Park, is 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16. The show will be at the Centennial Art Center and the grounds immediately adjacent in Centennial Park at 25th Avenue North and Park Plaza.
