Atlanta gives Nashville a thrashing

The Atlanta Thrashers needed only one period and five scorers to beat the Nashville Predators.

In the second period the Thrashers did all of their scoring in less than five minutes to take a 5-2 victory over the Predators Thursday night at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in the last preseason home game.
