Metro Police and the FBI's Violent Crimes Task Force are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the man who robbed a south Nashville bank late Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect, who police say was armed with a knife, allegedly approached a teller at Fifth Third Bank’s 1311 Bell Road branch at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday and demanded money. The teller complied, and the robber fled on foot, according to police.
Police describe the suspect as a white man who is approximately
6-feet, 4-inces tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a camouflage mask over a ball cap and a hooded FOX racing sweatshirt.
