Katlyne Scott, a seventh-grader from Nashville Christian School in Bellevue, has been selected to visit Europe as a student ambassador for the People to People program.

Former President Dwight D. Eisenhower started People to People in 1956 as a worldwide effort to bring together citizens and to work toward world peace. In 1961, People to People became a private foundation.

Katlyne is in the middle of her preparations for the trip and has already given a presentation about Switzerland
