Belmont wins No. 20

Belmont University turned a torrent of 3-pointers into an 81-70 victory over Mercer, and a No. 3 seed the Atlantic Sun Tournament, Thursday night at the Curb Event Center.

No fewer than six Bruins tallied from beyond the arc with Steve Drabyn leading the way, converting 5-of-13 from long range.

With the win, Belmont improved to 20-6 (14-4 A-Sun), for its first 20 victory season since 1996 and first ever in the NCAA Division I era.
