Classes came to a halt at Tennessee State University’s Avon William Campus Tuesday morning after the school received a bomb threat.

According to a TSU press release, the school’s information call center received the threat at around 9:05 a.m. The campus, which also houses charter school Nashville Prep, was evacuated for about two hours.

The Metro Nashville Police Department bomb squad used bomb-sniffing dogs to search the campus. Classes resumed at around 11:15 a.m.

The threat at TSU follows similar bomb threats at University of Texas, Louisiana State University and the University of North Dakota over the last several weeks. None of the threats were substantiated.
