The Nashville Predators lost one more bit of their history when center Sebastien Bordeleau was picked up on waivers Tuesday afternoon by the St. Louis Blues.
The Predators placed Bordeleau on waivers in order to send him to the Milwaukee Admirals of the International Hockey League where it was hoped he would be able to get some game time through the playoffs. Bordeleau has been out all season for the Predators recovering from a groin injury, and it is not certain if he will be healthy enough to play this season on any level.
Poile spoke with Larry Pleau, the general manager of the Blues. He told him that Bordeleau was skating, but he was not sure when he would be able to play. The Predators could have sent Bordeleau down on a routine rehab assignment, but that would not have allowed him to participate in the IHL playoffs.
