Bredesen pleased with DCS improvements

Gov. Phil Bredesen is happy about changes in the Department of Children Services (DCS) since Commissioner Viola Miller took the reins of the distressed department a year ago.

But both Bredesen and Miller agree there is much left to do to improve the system and move towards accreditation, a goal few states have achieved.
