Authorities arrested a Tennessee Department of Children’s Services employee Friday morning for allegedly possessing child pornography.

Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, with help from DCS, arrested Gary Neal Haley, 45, of Murfreesboro at DCS Central Intake on Kermit Drive in Nashville. Haley was booked into a Rutherford County jail on $100,000 bond, according to a TBI release.

TBI agents searched Haley’s 350 Tremont Drive apartment Thursday, leaving with his home computer and other evidence. DCS also handed over Haley’s work computer for TBI analysis.

Haley has worked at DCS since 2002 and worked in the call center, where it appears he did not have access to DCS children. More charges against Haley may be pending.
