Choby ordained bishop of Nashville Diocese

An overflow crowd of clergy, dignitaries and media watched Monday at the Cathedral of the Incarnation as Bishop David Choby assumed responsibility for the Diocese of Nashville.

For the last 14 months, Choby has served as interim bishop after Bishop Edward Kmiec moved to the Diocese of Buffalo in New York. Choby said as interim bishop, he declined to set an official agenda because that could have limited his successor.
