Metro police say a body found early Tuesday on a road in the northern part of the city was that of a young Clarksville man.

Shortly before 1 a.m., a Metro police officer saw the body in a traffic lane on State Route 45 near Myatt Drive. Someone in the area reported hearing gunfire a short time earlier.

Police said the dead man was 24-year-old Joshua Antoine Henry. A friend of Henry's said he last saw him in Clarksville last week.

Any information about Henry's death or who he was with can be called to 74-CRIME or texted to "CASH" along with the message to 274637.

Bible Belt residents are gun crazy. Everyone in Music City is armed to the teeth and the hate is everywhere...so, where does one begin their investigation in a situation like that?

Yeah... the only time you see this is when the VICTIM is the one that is unarmed. You go ahead and be the next unarmed victim Loner. Of course like my Granny used to say: "Nothing good comes from being out after midnight, you are either out doing something you wouldn't do in daylight, or about to become a part of someone else's shenanigans"

Nothing against your granny, rickmuz, but there it is again: Blaming the victim. Being dumb enough to be unarmed and being murdered somehow makes you a victim twice if you subscribe to this guy's opinion. But I guess if he had been armed, he wouldn't have gotten killed?

My condolences to you and your family. I know what its like raising children without their father. I hope they catch the murderer.

Not necessarily Tigre, however, being armed and INNOCENT means you have a fighting chance, certainly more so than being unarmed and at the mercy of any thug ass that wants to take what you have... including your life.

As for my Granny... this clearly drives her point home. HE may not have been doing anything wrong, but he crossed path's with some dirt bag... after midnight.
