Closed circuit television and a store security officer helped Franklin police pick up a duo accused of a snatch-and-grab robbery Tuesday afternoon at a Cool Springs Galleria store.

The tandem operation of Nashville men included Leon Esaw, who allegedly ran into the department store and grabbed arms full of designer merchandise, and DeJuan Reed, who waited in a vehicle outside, police said.

Armed with a description from store surveillance, Franklin Police stopped the suspect vehicle on Moores Lane near Interstate 65.

Police said they recovered nearly 30 pieces of Calvin Klein clothing valued at more than $1,500.

Esaw and Reed were booked into the Williamson County Jail on charges of theft over $1,000. Reed also faces a driving on a suspended license charge. Their bonds were set at $5,000 and $6,000, respectively.

Both are convicted felons, police said.
