Republican U.S. Sen. Bob Corker is appearing a series of public events in Middle Tennessee this week while Congress is in recess.

Corker, who was re-elected to a second six-year term in November, plans to focus on his proposals for solving financial problems facing the country in his meetings with business and community groups this week.

The series of events kicks off in Murfreesboro, Columbia and Brentwood on Tuesday, followed by meetings in Springfield, Hendersonville and Lebanon on Wednesday. Corker wraps up the tour with speaking engagements in Nashville and Franklin on Thursday.

Corker is a former mayor of Chattanooga and once served as state finance commissioner under then-Gov. Don Sundquist.

A good rule of thumb: at a Corker speech or rally, the bigger the American flag the bigger Corker's lies will be. Still want to fund moderate Syrian rebels, senator?

He has his eye on bigger things.

Considering his actions since the election I am surprised that he is showing his face around here.

Bob, where were you when our President came to town? Your behavior is not acceptable. I remember, when our President was sworn in, you and other GOP in D.C. met and planned to vote against everything that the President wanted to do for the country. The GOP wants this President to fail so badly that they would bring the country to its knees if they have to.

Corker spoke against the immigration bill but voted for it without saying why he changed his mind.

Many legal immigrants are making legal efforts to come to the USA so why should illegal aliens be given a free welcome?

And pswindle, the simple fact is; we do not have a president today. Barry is a usurper in office.
