Councilman wants referendum for more NES board members

Metro Councilman Phil Ponder said he will push for a referendum to have the Nashville Electric Service (NES) Electric Power Board expanded from five to seven members.

Knowing that a board makeup change will require an amendment to the Metro Charter, Ponder will ask that the referendum be held in March 2002, the date of the city
