Crash closes I-65 at Wedgewood

Update: I-65 north remains partially blocked at 11:30 a.m. TDOT now expects the roadway to reopen at 12:30 p.m.

All lanes of Interstate 65 North are closed at the Wedgewood Avenue exit, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Web site.

Northbound traffic is being diverted onto alternate routes. Southbound traffic is also affected with the left lane blocked.

The crash was reported at 9 a.m. and should be cleared by 11 a.m.
