Metro Police have charged Bonita Lobo in connection with the stabbing death of her father on Thanksgiving Day. She was arrested Tuesday afternoon on one count of criminal homicide.
Curtis Marshall, 66, of Pecan Street, died inside an apartment at 2715 Whites Creek Pike after an alcohol-induced family argument, police said.
Detectives, responding to a 5:30 a.m. 911 call, said they learned that Lobo, Marshall and Lobo’s mother had been drinking in the hours preceding the fight.
Lobo, 42, was committed to a medical facility for psychological evaluation on Nov. 26. She was released Monday.
She is being held in the Metro Jail on $1 million bond.
