Holdsworth, William S.

HERMITAGE

William S. Holdsworth died March 11. He was preceded in death by his son, Rea Holdsworth. Survivors include his wife, Martha Patton Holdsworth; sisters, Blanche Davis, Ruth Connel and Sara Brown; brother, Ralph Holdsworth. He served his country while in the Army in WWII. Retired from Aerostructure as Senior Accountant. He was an elder emeritus of Donelson Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be at Donelson Presbyterian 9:30 a.m. to 11a.m. today immediately preceding the 11 a.m. funeral service. Dr. John Shelly will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Donelson Presbyterian Church.

Herity, John

John Herity, 65, died Monday, March 12. Survivors include his father, J.P. Herity; devoted companion, Vivian Sanders; sons, Michael (Sheila) Herity, Barry Herity; daughters, Beth Hunter and Dana Haines; step-children, Michael Brewer, Charlene Brewer and Myrna Davis; sisters, Rose Mary Batts, Patricia Herity; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Phillips-Robinson Co. with Rev. Andre Dugger officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. today until service time. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers: Kenny Linder, Jimmy Maners, Eddie McRedmond, Kenny Maners, Phil Maners, Rick Roden and Nathan Morris.

Gregory, Marian Alice

Marian Alice Gregory, died Sunday, March 11. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Houston Gregory. Survivors include sons, Kenneth (Teeny) Gregory and Ralph (Joan) Gregory; daughter, Sandra (Ed) Krech; sisters, Frances Donnelly, Elanor Hadden; sister in law, Catherine Burris; eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Services will be held 1p.m. today at Hermitage Funeral Home, Bro. Robert Jackson and Bro. Wilson Adams officiating. Interment Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donation to Lakeshore Wedgewood Retirement Community in memory of Marian Gregory. Visitation with the family today 10 a.m. until time of service.
