GALLATIN - Hazel M. Corbin, 82, died Feb. 28, 2003, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Corbin; son, Selkirk Payne; grandson, Kristopher Payne; and sister, Narcissus Mitchell. Survivors include her daughters, JoAnn Hatcher of Gallatin, and Bertha (John) Offutt of Indianapolis; brother, Vesuvius Mitchell of Nashville; grandchildren, Debator Payne Troupe of Gallatin, Frederick Payne of Nashville, Abba (William) Yarbrough of Nashville, Kenneth Payne of Hendersonville, Michael (Kelly) Herod of Bryan's Road, Md., and Anthony Hatcher of Bolingbrook, Ill.; several great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family connections. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Underwood Haynes.
