WEST NASHVILLE - Lizzie Burdette Armstrong, 99, died May 25, 2003. She was a resident of Harpeth Terrace Convalescent Center for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark; son, William Armstrong; and daughter, Bobbie Wilhite. Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Burchett and Linda Wyatt of Nashville and Sue Herndon of Baton Rouge, La.; sister, Cecil Toon; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Armstrong had been a West Nashville resident for 80 years and was a member of the Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. today with Brother Mack Wayne Craig officiating. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Brinlee, Royal Jackson

HENDERSONVILLE - Royal Jackson Brinlee, 81, died May 24, 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Mai Brinlee; father, Andrew Jackson Brinlee; mother, Rose Altha Lahr; siblings, Horton Harrison Brinlee, Altha Lee Bilbrey and James Douglas Brinlee. Survivors include his daughter, Sue (Charles) Neighbours; sisters, Frances Gillece and May Etta Pigg; grandsons, Brian (Sarah) and Chris (Heather) Neighbours; and great-grandsons, Zachary, Ian and Christopher Neighbours. MADISON - Nannie Lucile Carter, 83, died May 25, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Enis A. Carter Sr. Survivors include her sons, Enis A. (Betty) Carter Jr. and Raymond (Rose) and Thomas Carter; daughters, Annie Lou (James) McCarty, Mary R. (Billy) Hall and Elaine (Phillip) Johnson; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Christopher. The family will receive friends noon-1 p.m. today. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. today with Brother Timothy Jones and Brother Billy Shipman officiating. Interment will follow in the Robertson County Memorial Garden, Springfield.

WEST NASHVILLE - Mary Ann Fisk, 73, died May 24, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh R. Fisk; and parents, Sam Stephens and Catherine Foriest Stephens. She was a member of Watson Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she worked diligently with the "Willing Workers."
