WEST NASHVILLE - Lizzie Burdette Armstrong, 99, died May 25, 2003. She was a resident of Harpeth Terrace Convalescent Center for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark; son, William Armstrong; and daughter, Bobbie Wilhite. Survivors include her daughters, Dorothy Burchett and Linda Wyatt of Nashville and Sue Herndon of Baton Rouge, La.; sister, Cecil Toon; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Armstrong had been a West Nashville resident for 80 years and was a member of the Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. today with Brother Mack Wayne Craig officiating. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
