Draft good for some

First, a few thoughts on the just-completed NFL Draft.

As we predicted last week, San Diego did indeed trade away their top draft pick, and I think they made a great decision. Quarterback Michael Vick, now headed to Atlanta, may or may not be a star of the future. But with San Diego's picks of running back Thomlinson and quarterback Brees, they get immediate help in their much-needed running game and get their quarterback of the future.

Other teams that I thought fared extremely well in the draft:

Seattle, New York Jets, Tampa, and San Francisco. As for a failing grade, I think everyone is unanimous
