Elderly victims of fire return to apartments

The displaced elderly population of an apartment complex in Madison that burned on Feb. 11 will be able to move back, the apartment managers said.

According to Lisa Hunt, assistant manager of Chippington Towers apartment complex, the 214 tenants who live at the complex will be allowed to move back this Thursday.

The wiring that started the fire has been updated, and most of the damages have been fixed, said manager Nicole Manscill.
