Execution date set in 2004

Tennessee death row inmate Olen E. Hutchinson is scheduled to be executed March 11, 2004, at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in Nashville, following an order issued Tuesday by the Tennessee Supreme Court.

Hutchinson is accused in the drowning death of Hugh Huddleston in Campbell County in 1991. A jury convicted him of first-degree murder, in addition to conspiracy to take a life and solicitation to commit murder.
