Fisher's USC career prepared him well

As Titans head coach Jeff Fisher drifts from one practice area to another, sunglasses conceal his brightened eyes when he observes the wide receivers versus defensive backs drills.

The William Howard Taft High School graduate in Woodland Hills, Cailf., seemed too small when he reported for varsity football practice as a sophomore. But, two years later at age 17, Fisher would break the Los Angeles prep single-game receiving yardage record. On that night against Chatsworth, he collected 13 receptions for 284 yards and added two touchdowns.
