<font color=blue><b>Marathon Results</b></font>

Davidson Countians, husband and wife Eric Legros and Maureen Manning, were the top two local finishers in today's Country Music Marathon. Manning finished in 3:10.30 and Legros in 2:37.22, a personal best. Each of them won $2,000.

Christopher Cheboibich of Kenya won the marathon this morning, besting countryman Luke Kibet through the streets of Nashville by 17 seconds. He navigated the course in 2 hours, 13 minutes and 28 seconds, beating defending champion Kibet (2:13:45) and Russian and Mohamed Nazipov (2:13:49).

Aurica Buia of Romania won the women's division in 2:34:40, besting Russia's Ramilia Burangulova (2:36:08) and Kenya's Nora Maraga (2:37:06).

Six runners from Kenya finished in the top 10 in the men's field.

Both the men's and women's winners earned $20,000 each for their victories.
