Local developers plan to turn the former Neuhoff meat-packing plant in North Nashville into a mixed-use development, including residential housing and retail space.

Stephen McRedmond, whose family owns the property, and Helen Nagge are heading up plans to convert the former plant, which encompasses 14 acres and five buildings, into a creative mixed-use development.

The new development would not only further revitalize historic Germantown and the North Nashville community, but it would also complement three other urban revitalization plans already underway on the southern, western and eastern edges of downtown.
