Franklin police have been searching for 51-year-old Frank Randy Woods since he allegedly assaulted a man in December. On Thursday, he was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Top 10 Most Wanted list.

Police say Woods, whose last known address is 2459 N. Detroit Ave., Toledo, Ohio, hit a man so severely that he lost part of his vision in one eye.

He faces one count of aggravated assault in Franklin, and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office wants him for violating his probation on a disorderly conduct charge.

Woods has a criminal history that dates back to 1987 and includes disorderly conduct, criminal impersonation, passing bad checks and assault. He’s been arrested numerous times throughout Middle Tennessee, as well as Alabama and Ohio.

Law enforcement described him as a black male standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. There is a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
