A Franklin man already serving 23 years in prison was sentenced to 26 more years Tuesday on additional charges of child rape and sexual exploitation.
A Williamson County judge sentenced Timothy J. Reynolds, 34, to an additional 26 years in prison to be served concurrently with a previous 23-year sentence that followed his September 2008 conviction on child rape, child abuse and aggravated sexual battery.
Reynolds is now required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and faces mandatory lifetime community supervision upon his release from prison.
Doesn't "concurrent" just mean they sentenced him 3 additional years in prison for the "additional charges of rape and sexual exploitation"?
Yes, but it'll only be 3-6 additional months in dog years. Our judicial system is FUBAR. There's just some things that constitute the death penalty and child rape is one of them.
