Friday expected to bring 70 percent chance of showers

The National Weather Service has placed Davidson County under a severe thunderstorm warning, as rain hammered parts of Nashville during the Thursday afternoon rush hour.

Thursday night will bring a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. 

For Friday, expect showers and thunderstorms. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
