Future of Lakewood hangs on one vote

For the time being, it appears citizens of Lakewood have decided to dissolve the city’s charter by a margin of just one vote.

Provisional ballots have not been counted.

According to Davidson County Elections Administrator Ray Barrett, 400 Lakewood citizens voted to revoke the city charter, while 399 voted to keep the city charter.
